Replacement cables for Morse rack and pinion steering cables For "Old Style" Morse rack and pinion rack systems. We carry replacement steering cables for the Morse rack cable that has the number 300619 printed on it. Any other number does not have a replacement. You will have to replace the whole steering system. Please look on the cable you have for the Morse number and the total length in inches. This information should be on the casing of the cable on the end near the engine. Please note: There are no replacement helms for the Morse rack and pinion steering systems. push in the engine end of the cable and measure from the jacket housing, starting at the helm and going to the tip end of the cable where the engine connection rod hole exists. This should give you the correct length of cable for ordering. Always round UP your measurement to the next foot. |
