Just a little note about my husband, Nick. He served in the United States Navy back in the 1960's.
He served on the USS Blenny SS-324 and also on the Command Ship USS Northhampton CC-1 in the North Atlantic and later during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

For a little bit of history: In recognition to all those who were lost in all wars the United States has been in, please take a look at this link. Elaine's Great, Great, Great, Great Paternal Grandfather sent 6 of his sons to fight in the Civil War from a little tiny town named Sheffield in northern Vermont.
The Soldier above all others prays for peace, for it is the Soldier who must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war.
