RACK AND PINION replacement steering cables
We carry Morse rack and pinion steering cables that replace the Morse cable number 300619. Any other number is no longer available in which case you will have to replace the complete steering system which includes the cable, steering helm and steering dress bezel.
Please look on the cable you have for the Morse number and the total length in inches. This information should be on the casing of the cable closer to the rod end near the engine. Morse marked their cables in inches: example 144 in = 12 foot cable, 168 in = 14 foot cable. We carry replacements for the rack and pinion systems from 9 foot to 20 foot and replacements for the rotary cables from 8 foot to 34 foot.
Note: There are no replacement helms for the Morse rack and pinion steering systems. If you choose to replace the whole steering system, you might check out our Teleflex rack and pinion steering systems at this link.
